Web

I’ve never been formally trained in web design, but I don’t think that education is the only thing that makes a person a skilled designer. Having an eye for detail, colour and what things that mesh well are also of utmost importance to designing a functional and pleasing website. Everything I know about creating websites has been learned over the past decade through assistance, trial, error and practice, practice, practice!

I try to keep things clean and simple with cross-browser compatibility in mind. Screen and graphics resolution is also something to consider when dealing with mobile devices such as cell phones, netbooks, iPods, tablets and any future types of portable devices out there. I take advantage of free brushes, fonts, templates, scripts and form generators whenever I can because there are people out there who create wonderful things and offer them out for public use. I also like to promote other artists, designers and photographers by using or purchasing images they offer as stock photography. Their work helps me and I, in turn, help them by including a link in the site credits so others can find them.

Below, you will find examples of my work. Not all of these websites are still live, so some have been uploaded to folders here so they can still be viewed in the way that they were intended. Click the image and the website will open in a new window.
